We offer a comprehensive range of services, including project and contract management, construction management, project planning and controls, cost, value, and risk engineering, and project administration. We work with clients in a variety of sectors, including oil and gas, mining, and general infrastructure development. and we are seeking a bright and motivated individual to join our team as a CAD Technician Trainee.
Job Summary:
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of CAD drafting and design under the guidance of experienced professionals. You will learn industry-standard software, contribute to real-world projects, and develop your skills as a technical team member.
Remote Responsibilities:
- Assist senior CAD technicians with drafting and design tasks using [mention specific CAD software, e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks
- Create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D models as per project specifications.
- Generate technical drawings, sections, and plans.
- Perform revisions and modifications to existing designs.
- Participate in project meetings and discussions.
- Maintain organized files and document control systems.
- Learn company-specific CAD standards and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.
Qualifications:
- Recent graduate with a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and technical concepts.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Solid computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience with CAD software is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
